It's a relatively high-end diner. Huge and busy; you rarely have to wait for a seat. Service is good: You are waited on quickly and the food arrives promptly. Compared to other diner-type establishments, the variety is superior, prices are on the high side, and the quality of the food is about what you'd expect (no more than adequate). As at any diner, the best meal is breakfast. Beer and wine are available, though the last time I went they were out of everything except Bud.

First visit to a true New York diner. I had the pastrami sandwich. It was divine. With just a tad of mustard I tasted the buttery sweetness of the pastrami. I was a little disappointed in the pickle, house made I assume, as it was a bit sour. Service was great, quick and efficient. I stopped in while walking up from 95th towards 115th. Stop in and give them a try and let me know if your dining experience is the similar.
